Relaxing, breezy, beachside vacation
Reviewed on 2024-03-26 by , Reno, NV United StatesThe pool is very close (can be seen from the lanai), and the path for other guests to get to the pool crosses the yard in front of the lanai. Most of the time, it felt like we had our own front yard right to the beach. The grill is in the pool area and is community use. You can walk down to the small beach, which has a baby pool. We enjoyed the sunrises and the shade in the afternoons. It is very relaxing to sit on the lanai and look out across the yard to the waves.

Near to grocery stores, restaurants and, of course, the fabulous Coconut Marketplace. The location was a good jumping off site to points north and south. As for the condo itself, it was wonderful. We loved the lanai, it was so private and the grounds were exceptionally beautiful. We felt like we had our own backyard. The condo complex is not large so there weren’t a lot of people coming and going. And we just loved the salt water pool! It was the perfect temperature and we seemed to have it all to ourselves. The condo is oceanfront and we would sit outside whenever possible just to watch the beauty of the ocean and listen to the waves. We were up every morning to watch the sunrise. Peaceful and spectacular. The staff at Kauai Vacation Rentals were incredibly helpful and kindly worked with us on check-in. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!
Family friendly

The condo is equipped with everything you can possibly need. The beach paraphernalia was greatly appreciated. Our whole family was very impressed-grandparents to teens.
Beautiful and we'll furnished beach front condo

The condo had everything we needed for the week including great cooking utensils, beach chairs and towels, and many tour books. The back bedroom have AC but we mostly kept the windows open and enjoyed the breeze. It was roomier than we expected from the pictures. There are 2 areas for sitting (couches and chairs), a table that seated 8, and a patio with table and chairs. The condo has a pool that we didn't use and a grill that we did (surprisingly clean). This is a great condo to enjoy a Kauai vacation. The mangers were responsive to a couple of requests we had and did a great job.

The property was beautiful. The main floor was perfect especially for the baby who enjoyed going in and out onto the beautiful front yard. It felt like it was our own. The condo was very spacious. It was so nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We really loved the home decorated with Hawaiian artifacts made it really feel like we were living the dream. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We would recommend this to everyone.
Was just what we dreamed of

The lawn area with a view of the ocean is private and breathtakingly beautiful. You are steps to the beach. While snorkeling at the condo we saw colorful fish, crabs and anemones. There is also a lagoon type area for little ones.We enjoyed snorkeling in there too. It was quiet and lovely. Our group consisted of two young men in their 20's and a grandma in her 80's. The AC was great in the bedrooms for her. Happy to find a shower chair in the closet for her to use as well. We highly recommend the Kauai Coffee Plantation tour, Captain Andy's BBQ & snorkel, and the Waimea Canyon lookout. We didn't do a luau, I did discover some free options and I hear the one at the Kauai Plantation is a good one. We did go on the train ride tour and it was interesting. We planned outing days and then down days in between just to enjoy the condo. This worked well for us. We would love to return some day. Our only disappointment was not staying longer! I would highly recommend 10-14 days if possible. A week was not long enough.
Well appointed condo with a stunning location

Many rentals we've stayed in seem to be a hodge podge of people's hand me downs or rejects - but not in this condo. Much care and thought have been put into this place and it shows. We didn't want to leave and our whole group agreed we will be returning next year. Thank you KVR for a wonderful vacation!
Better than advertised

This condo provided the means to meet and exceed our hopes. Surfing (2-min walk to a point break, 4' - 6' and clean all week), Sunbathing (great pool, ocean front), Beach with easy ocean access to snorkeling, SUPing,etc. Relaxing (The lanai and lawn directly in front of unit are surprisingly private, offering wonderful views) Shopping (Shops everywhere, the girls were in heaven, the boys...miserable to the extreme) Sightseeing (Condo is roughly 45 min to North shore and 45 min to South shore - in our opinion perfect), Each bedroom offers great privacy with its own bathroom. The condo was very clean and well stocked with just about anything you would expect to find in your own home. We were amazed. We have rented many vacation homes over the years, however, this one is at the top of our list. We can hardly wait to return. Also, Kauai Vacation Rentals were great. Easy to work with. They treated us with great respect and kindness.
