35th Anniversary
Reviewed on 2024-04-06 by Teri H. , Hulbert, OK United StatesHowever, I had read reviews stating the property was a bit outdated, and I saw the kitchen pictures, but I believe the condo was well passed outdated, it was very old, the kind of old that begins to look shabby and although clean, looks dirty. i.e. mold in showers, that kind of old. I probably wouldn't stay in this unit again, unless it has been updated.
I really did like everything else about the property, except the 1980's interior.

On one evening, we indulged in a fantastic sushi experience at Kintaro, located just across the street. Additionally, the spot served as an excellent base for our explorations of both the Northside and Southside of the island.
We're already eagerly looking forward to our next visit. Lani Kai 112 and its surroundings left an indelible impression on us, and we can't wait to return!
Beach Front Paradise!

The space was large and the kitchen full of all the essentials for easy cooking. Also loved this property was on the east side of the island if you like to explore. About an hour to the north, and an easy 20 minutes to go south. Would absolutely come back to this exact property if visiting the island. Highly recommend!

The farmers market just down the street was very convenient. The central location of Lani Kai 112 is perfect for visiting the whole island. Traffic congestion throughout the island needs to be addressed. Highlights for us included hiking Mahaulepu trail in Poipu, Sleeping Giant close to the unit, and the Canyon trail in Waimea canyon. Also enjoyed cycling the coastline up from the unit and beach walking. Would love to return to this condo in the future!, thank you!

This condo worked perfectly for us

We also chose this home for its oceanfront view and access. It is indeed a HOME. Lani Kai 112 was so comfortable and "homey", we could have packed our bags and moved right in! This condo worked perfectly for us...ample parking, appliances, utensils, etc. 5 out of 5 stars!
Spent a lot of time relaxing on the patio listening to the ocean

Lani Kai 112 is exactly like pictured on the website from the condo to the grounds. The views were fantastic. We spent many afternoons and nights relaxing on the patio listening to the ocean and and enjoying the beautiful flowers and foliage that surrounded us. The location is convenient to restaurants, shopping and exploring all the different parts of the island. We stayed 14 nights here and enjoyed every minute. Thank you to the owners for sharing their home. Thank you to Kauai Vacation Rentals for making it so easy.

It was a dream vacation!

The condo is as pretty as it looks in the pictures, and it didn't take long for it to feel like a second home. Having the bath and a half was so convenient, view was amazing, area peaceful and quiet, and so convenient to stores and restaurants. You can literally walk to the Coconut Marketplace, and having your own private beach is great! Could'nt believe the owners provided beach items. We have never had such a well supplied condo and can't wait to stay there again. Also, Kauai Vacation Rentals is a joy to work with. All in all, it was a dream vacation!

It's a comfortable, clean apt. Comfortable bed, clean, some appliances, window coverings, etc. a bit dated but update scheduled. Friendly, professional manager. Don't let the comments on updating deter you, nicest place and location we've stayed in our half dozen trips to the islands.
