Great place but not a fan of the Property Management

The unit was great and as advertised! Very comfortable with all the amenities and great location! Clean and walking distance to great restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommend the place but the Property Management has a bit to be desired. Very condescending, not helpful and somewhat inefficient. Because of this I might not stay here again. Our family stayed in a unit in the same complex and had a much better experience. It seems in this day and age with key pads/electronic entry, and the fact that there was one right outside the door, the property management made us drive to their office to get the keys and drop them off - and guess what! They had a key pad there for after hour pick ups! Seems like a pretty easy fix but there was no talking with the Property Management. Too bad!

Our rental was a lovely unit which had plenty of room for two people with seperate rooms - bedroom, bathroom, Kitchen, laundry and dinning room. It felt like a spacious apartment. Great double wardrobe with full length mirrored doors, plenty of drawer storage too for clothing. There was a real personal touch about the place with a fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances, pots, pans, storage containers, loads of cutlery and crockery that would ever need. A bonus having a dishwasher and clothes washer & dryer in the condo. A lovely tiled Lanai with nice outdoor bar stools and table. The indoor bar stools at the kitchen island bench were so comfy. All the furniture in the living room was comfortable. The bed had a thick soft mattress topper on it which was initially comfortable but a bit too soft for us as were the bed pillows though was nice to have a couple spare pillows in the wardrobe. It was such a treat to get the welcome pack with yummy food treats and so nice they also provided a shopping and cooler bag which we were allowed to take home. The only thing we wished could be changed was the shower - you could not move the head into the centre of the shower because of the shower caddy being in the way. That was really the only real downside to the condo itself. The use of the swimming pool was great & nice to have beach towels and plenty of linen. Coffee machine was great. We would most definitely love to come back to this place again.

Had a wonderful stay and this amazing well appointed condo in Poipu. If there was anything you could possibly need this condo had it! Plus a/c and a full size in-unit washer & dryer. My husband and I were very comfortable in this unit and would stay here again!

I loved staying in Prince Kuhio condo 210. It has AC, which we never used because there is a nice cross breeze.
Has a washer and dryer in the condo.
Has a dishwasher.
I didn't notice till the last day we were there but there is a drawer full of games under the TV in the living room.
The place is very nicely decorated with some nice paintings.
Condo was very clean .
Pool is very nice and warm and never crowded

Unit 210 is amazing. It's very brightly decorated. Nice view of park and the clean. Bed very comfy. A plus to have washer and dryer in n condo. Has AC but haven't had to use it. You get a nice cross breeze. Grounds are beautiful. Nice little koi pond. Pool is very clean and warm. Across the street is a restaurant and just down the road is a little shack where they have very good shave ice.I would stay here again in a heartbeat

We stayed here in August of 2023. Unit 210 was very well appointed and very comfortable! We loved it! The breeze that came out of the east kept the unit nice and cool for the most part, and we barely needed to use the AC unit in the bedroom. The kitchen is very well stocked. The morning sunrises were glorious! The pool and the grounds were wonderful, and parking was just fine with the additional spots next door when needed. The only issue was the temporary construction going on in the basement for several days of our stay, which were quite noisy, and definitely impacted our ability to take quiet afternoon naps, which is something we enjoy on vacation. We didn't know about the construction until after we booked our stay. Fortunately, it only lasted for the first 6 days, and then it was quieter. But the construction noise definitely impacted our stay in a negative way. Overall, though, we were very happy with the unit, the property, and the location.

We loved the location of this condo. It's walking distance to shops and restaurants, and a wonderful snorkeling spot is practically across the street. The neighbors in the condo were very friendly, and parking is easy. The condo has a lovely koi pond and beautiful plants in the courtyard. My one drawback was that the condo could have been cleaner. On the second day, I got out their vacuum and pulled back furniture to clean up dead bugs, and old food. The vacuum did not work very well, but it got the job done. The washer and dryers need a good cleaning around them and on the knobs. The appliances are dated, and cooking with the old electrical stove was a challenge. Overall though, we loved the location, the people, and our experience in Kauai. Kauai Rentals is very nice to work with, and I would rent from them again.

We loved our stay here. The bed was super comfy and we had everything we needed. So helpful to have beach chairs and an umbrella to borrow when we went to the beach. Would definitely stay here again if we come back.

We are a couple from NYC and were looking for a quiet and relaxing space, with a great and easy location and lots to do around us. This is exactly what we found. While other reviewers were unhappy with the “rules” about being quiet after a certain time, we absolutely loved this about the property and would easily stay again. The space was perfect for a couple (probably tight for those with parties greater than two) and we loved the quaintness about it.

We stayed at Prince Kuhio due to a last minute change of our condo in Kapaa. It is a old complex but we’ll maintained. We didn’t like the set up of the condo since it had a walkway going across our front window. Also, the only lanai was outside our bedroom and it didn’t have any privacy. The condo had a washer and dryer, a large TV in living room and bedroom which was nice. I

We have stayed in this area several times and this unit was considering all factors was the best we have experienced. The lanai had wonderful views of the park as well as the beautiful surf of beach. The condo was furnished with all your needs for cooking in, but it’s just a short walk or drive to some very nice restaurants. We will definitely stay here when we return to Kauai.

We recently stayed at Prince Kuhio #210 and had a great vacation. The location is fantastic...within 100 yards (or less) from the ocean which can be easily seen from the lanai off of the bedroom. The unit is tastefully decorated with a feel of the islands and beach. The grounds are landscaped wonderfully with many species of tropical plants and palm trees. The pool is beautiful and the privacy is great. We cooked several meals on the outdoor grilles on evenings when we weren't dining at some of our favorite restaurants (Beach House, Merriman's, Keoki's Paraduse, Brennecke's). The unit was clean and well appointed. We will definitely be returing to Prince Kuhio 210.

This is the perfect location on the south side. The beach right across the street has awesome snorkeling and the view is unbeatable! The bed is very comfortable. There is no a/c but when you open the doors you do not need an a/c! There are also ceiling fans and a floor fan if needed. Love this condo would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

I cannot say enough about how perfect this condo was for my husband and me. The location was convenient and so relaxing. Everything was supplied for you except your clothes and any food you would like to purchase for your stay. The pool was wonderful. No air conditioning was not a problem because of the constant breeze blowing through... absolutely loved it all! Check in/out was super easy too; across the street from Walmart by the airport to stock up for your stay. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Would love to come back and stay again!

We stayed in Prince Kuhio 210 for 2 weeks in May 2021. The location is great, a 1 minute walk to Lawai Beach. My husband is an experienced scuba diver and he was impressed with the variety of fish at the beach. The view from the lanai is lovely.
The condo was in great shape, very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with small appliances, nice dishes, cookware, utensils. It had everything we needed for the beach including chairs, towels, umbrellas (we never used)and mats as well as a small cooler. The bed was very comfortable. There were 2 large TVs and lots of games and books. Everything was perfect including service from the management company: the iron didn't work and the management company brought a new replacement the same day. We'd definitely stay here again. A big thank you to the owners who thought of everything - including hooks on the back of the entrance door.

The property is sweet, roomy, comfortable and clean. The king bed is heavenly, the kitchen is on the small side but updated and FULLY equipped. Most everything you need is provided for beach going and for spending time in the condo.

Absolutely loved this fully equipped home away from home. This condo was better equipped than any we have ever stayed at. Lovely decor and perfect setting. Very clean. Perfect location for Kauai Vacation-loved the walks and the scenic tours and the people. This was our 1st visit to Hawaii. Did some island hopping. Loved Kauai. Absolutely stunning! Our 40th Anniversary - how amazing. The Beach House sunsets and the food was great! The parakeets arriving, the turtles playing near the road between the Whalers Cove and the Sheraton were wonderful to watch.

Edie and I had a most relaxing, fun, adventurous and inspirational time using the condo. The accommodations were spectacular, especially the beach chairs , kitchen for omelets, and easy access to Poi'pu beach. It was our honeymoon, and the first time to Hawaii. My wife loved snorkeling for the first time, the scenery at other secluded beaches was awesome. We love seafood, and this was a great place for it. Smoked Marlin, Ahi, and coconut shrimp. Life is what you make of it, and the lifestyle was good at this condo. I enjoyed the fact it was next to a park and so quiet at night, I really like the patio and enjoyed the southern constellations and shooting stars, and the sunset at Spouting horn was breathtaking for what we were there for. So much to do,but taking it easy and not stressing was the ticket for us. I will use this service again when I get to go to Hawaii again. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I appreciate the hospitality and customer service, Mahalo !!!!

We have just returned from a wonderful 16 day vacation in Jim & Donna's unit # 210. The units in Prince Kuhio come in a variety of sizes and shapes but this is one of the larger units and the view over Prince Kuhio park is great. The kitchen is well equipped and the furnishings have all been updated and they also provide lots of beach toys; it is like you have your own personal one bedroom condo.

Prince Kuhio Resort is the perfect location to enjoy the sunny South of Kauai. Two excellent snorkeling beaches are just steps away. The famous Beach House Restaurant is across the street. All the activities of the Poipu Beach area are within a 2 mile drive. The grounds are a gardeners delight with an incredible variety of flowering plants, shrubs and trees surrounding a beautiful and private swimming pool.
This particular accommodation has an ideal location in the middle of the second floor with great views of the ocean and park on one side and the tropical garden on the other. The lanai is perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning over Prince Kuhio Park or Hawaiian net fishermen casting their nets on the nearby reef.
The owners of this condo spend several months each year on Kauai and have equipped their condominium with every possible appliance and comfort including games, beach mats, guide books and extra beach towels.
Activities nearby include: seasonal swimming, snorkeling (right across the road!), horseback riding, boat tours, fishing, botanical gardens tours, surfing, scuba diving, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, zip-lining, kayaking, biking, sailing, hiking, shopping and golfing.
