Called Na’aina Kai Botantical Gardens, Sculpture Park and Hardwood Plantation, this diverse eco-system’s name means “Lands by the Sea.” It includes numerous gardens both adults and children can enjoy and around 120 bronze sculptures.

Consistently ranked among the best hiking trails in Hawaii, the Canyon Trail allows hikers to soak up the outdoor beauty found on the lush island of Kauai. About 10 miles long and more than 3,000-feet deep, famous American writer Mark Twain described what he saw as "the Grand Canyon of the Pacific."

Waioli Mission House is one of the most famous sites in Hanalei Town and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Guests experience a glimpse of missionary life from 1837, complete with historically accurate features such as lava rock chimneys and fine koa furniture.

The Smith Family Garden Luau takes place year-round in the Wailua River Valley on the East Side of Kauai. Between March and October, the luau begins at 5 p.m. and lasts until 8 p.m. Between November and February, the luau begins 15 minutes earlier.

Hanapepe Town sits on Kauai's South Shore. From World War I to the early 1950s, Hanapepe was busy and filled with soldiers. Today, the preservation of the historical buildings and authentic feel that the town oozes resulted in inspiration for films.
