Description

The condo is beautifully decorated in Hawaiian style. On the main level is the fully equipped kitchen perfect for preparing at home meals or putting together a picnic for a day at the beach. The living room and dining room are comfortably furnished in tropical decor and there is a lanai for your relaxation. A half bathroom completes this level. In addition to ceiling fans, there is air conditioning in both bedrooms and in the living room/dining room area.

Upstairs is the master bedroom with a queen size bed, beautifully furnished, and another lanai. A second bedroom has 2 twin beds, also decorated in Hawaiian style. The bedrooms are perfect for a family of 4 or for one or two couples. The master bathroom on this floor consists of a large walk in shower, lighted vanity mirror, hair dryer and a washer and dryer. Linens and bath towels are provided, as are an iron and ironing board. Stored in the Master Bedroom closet are beach chairs and beach towels for your use at the beach. Free WiFi service is provided should you bring your laptop or other electronic devices. There is a community computer available at the front desk for all guests to use free of charge.

As you walk through the beautifully landscaped property, which was once a botanical garden, you will come upon the hilltop salt water swimming pool. At this location you will find two shared gas BBQ grills, outdoor shower and restrooms. Adjacent to the pool area are tennis courts and a shuffleboard court.

The Greatest aspect of Banyan Harbor is it's proximity to Kauai's shopping center and central island location. You’re within walking distance to Kalapaki Bay, restaurants and shops. This condominium is located equidistant from the sights and activities on the North and South shores.

The condo was very clean and just what we needed for our one week stay. It was conveniently located to our relative’s home in Lihue. I was also walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The condo complex was quiet and the staff on site were very helpful and friendly. We would rent this condo again.

Would definitely stay at this property again, it was perfect for my unit was very well appointed and nice and clean!I wasn't sure about the location, ( thought it might be too noisy..) but it actually turned out to be great. Would definitely recommend Banyon Harbor!

Stayed here for 8 nights in July. Great location to visit the island, beautiful beach across the street. Good amenities although A/C working on a timer is weird. Thoughtful goodie bag and we also loved the fact that there were brach chairs and sunshade available for us in the apartment

This condo was clean, well-maintained, very welcoming and provided very useful amenities such as air conditioning, washer/dryer, boogie boards, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella. It was in the perfect location for travelling all over the entire island, and also conveniently located close to the airport and a local, swimmable beach. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this condo and thie company!

A9 at Banyan Harbor is a little slice of heaven and the grounds and condo are immaculately kept. Air conditioners, full kitchen (BBQ outside, living room with 2 lanais, washer & Dryer, beach across street and can see entire beach from poolside. Best time in my life!!!!

Very good place, it was very nice location. We loved watching the big ships come into port.
The only thing that we found is that they did not have sharp knifes. We cooked most of our meals, well stocked kitchen.

Unit was as described. Well equipped kitchen. Well stock with bath and beach towels. Unit has everything you needed for the beach, umbrellas, chairs, etc. Kiki the concierge was fantastic. Close to Costco, Walmart and Target. Good location, easy to access all Kauai had to offer. Would book again.

Central location within walking distance of restaurants, stores & a beach. Only downside is the air conditioners were on a timer and shut off randomly at night. We eventually figured out how to adjust. Would stay there again.

Banyan Harbor is an excellent place to stay. The location is central to everything you'll be doing on the island. The property is very well maintained and very quiet (except for the roosters of course!). The unit we stayed in was well maintained and we didn't experience any negative encounters. Would definitely stay there again.

Our overall stay was great. The property is clean. The condo was equip with all the things we needed during our stay. Furnitures are great. Location is perfect. This condo is close to everything. Costco, target, Walmart, restaurant, abc store, food trucks, beach, and all grocery stores are close by .
The only thing the condo needs is more lights . It was a little dim, specially the living room dinning room area . Remove the big armoire for the tv (takes too much room). Thank you for the beautiful condo. We had a great time in kaui and created beautiful memories.

The unit was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The location close to shops and restaurants, as well as the beach. It was also nice having a pool. The only drawback was the throngs of visitors when the cruise ships arrived.

This rental was nicely equipped with everything you’d need including the small things like zip lock bags, paper plates & plastic cutlery. We had a rental vehicle and explored the area. It’s a great location to venture out from to enjoy the south and west side of the island. It’s close to drive to Costco/target & Walmart to get supplies. There’s a nice beach across the road with crosswalks to safely cross. There’s also an ABC across the road. I would stay in this unit again. Not all units at Banyan Harbour are the same but I would recommend this particular unit ��

We had a great time at Banyan harbor. The condos are well-equipped, including beach umbrellas and towels. We really appreciated the washing machine, as hiking in Kaua'i are muddy.

Me and 3 other friends stayed here for 8 days and it had everything we needed, including all the necessary beach gear (umbrella, beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, and snorkel gear). Kitchen was well stocked! Beds were firm but comfortable. AC in every room was so nice to have! And we loved having laundry in unit. We wanted to stay in Lihue so we could be equal driving distances all the way north Hanalei, as well as all the way west to Waimea Canyon, and were very happy with the location. I saw some reviews that said there was noise from the ship harbor or being close to the airport but I never noticed it at night and it never bothered any of us. The beach nearby was quiet and the water was calm there, if we didn't want to venture out for a beach day. Would definitely recommend!

The best thing about this condo was the fact that it was across the street from Kalapaki beach. It appears that there are permanent residents at this complex which may account for the general poor condition. We did not feel all that safe here. Spoke to neighbor renter who expressed same concerns as well as being unhappy with condition of their unit.

Unit had nice laminate floors which were spoiled by dirty area rugs and carpeting on the stairs and entire 2nd floor. A home in a moist climate such as Hawaii should not have carpet. The tiny lanai which overlooked the parking lot also had an area rug under the table. Wondered what the point of that was.

Advertised as having AC in the bedrooms and living room but not the fact that they work on a timer, with I believe a maximum of 6 hours. So if you are gone all day and come back after 6 hours the condo is stifling. Don't think it should be advertised as having AC when there is a limit as to how long you can use it.

The furniture was dirty. Have no preference as to the type of decor a place has, but it would be nice if it at least looked clean.

Stayed in Poipu for a week prior and the 2 locations couldn't be more different. Poipu has a very tropical look and feel, while this condo in Lihue is like being in the hood.

When we arrived we were given a paper telling us the Wifi password was located by the TV. Could not find it. Finally we noticed there was a paper tacked to the wall in the kitchen with the Wifi name and PW on it.

There were no kitchen towels and the management company responded quickly.

We loved our Banyon Harbor experience. The unit is beautiful, fully equipped with all kitchen supplies necessary, and also stocked with body boards, beach chairs and umbrellas, etc. Washer and dryer was especially helpful after Long Beach days! The breezes were great but when we needed them, the air conditioners kept the unit so cool we ran them only sporadically. Great shops, restaurants, food trucks (5 min walk) and a great beach (10 minute walk) nearby. My only suggestion would be to replace both sliding screen doors; they just don’t want to stay on the tracks. Would definitely stay here again!

The rental was absolutely incredible! It was clean, location was the best ever and the management was perfect. We were across from great restaurants, stores and a fantastic beach. We were within minutes of Costco and Walmart. Everything in the place worked perfectly. We did have 1 broken beach chair. We went and got a new one and was reimbursed without any troubles. I didn't look for reimbursement, but they wanted to. I was shocked how management/staff were so accommodating. The others around the rental were quiet at night and very friendly. Without a doubt when we go back to Kauai, we will be staying there again!

The condo was awesome. We traveled with other couples who stayed in different units in the Banyon Harbor Resort. Our condo was by far the best of the three units our group booked. It was a relief to have everything and more in our sweet home away from home. The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable and the team at Kauai Vacation rentals made the reservation process seamless. Highly recommend unit A9 at Banyon Harbor.

This place was perfect for myself and 2 adult daughters. Our stay was short and sweet. It was right in the middle of Kauai. The place was neat and clean. We were able to prepare breakfast and lunches for our adventures since the kitchen was stocked with sufficient tools. It was handy to have a washing machine and dryer for the day we slogged and slipped through mud to hidden falls. We were out and about a lot, it was also great to have an ice chest to use for our lunch each day. We didn't use the pool, though we checked it out and the view was nice plenty of lounging space, a dressing room, tennis and basketball courts, and shuffle board. If our trip was longer, I'm sure we would have loved a down day just staying close to home away from home.

This beautiful condo is in the perfect location for exploring the island. Comes with beach towels & chairs, snorkel, boogie boards, ice chest, all great for day outings and packing picnics for the beach. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessities for cooking meals. Laundry machine came in handy for washing clothes or towels after long days at the salty beach or hiking mud trails. Easy parking and access to swimming pool & tennis courts was great! After adventuring all day this was the perfect home away from home. I will definitely be coming back soon!

This is in a great location for this first-timers to Kauai who want to experience all the island without a ton of driving. Washer and dryer was perfect for being able to pack light and wash beach towels often. Towels were included as were beach toys, bags, cooler, and chairs.

Our family of four stayed at this condo for 8 days in May, 2018. What a wonderful home away from home!! There are plenty of room for our family. The condo is 2 miles from Walmart, Costco and Safeway. All appliances worked properly - we rarely needed to use the air conditioner during the day since the humidity was very low and the breeze was nice. It was very convenient to have a washer and dryer on site. The owner left plenty of clothes detergent & a box full of fabric softener. There are also plenty of pots, pans and dishes to fix quick breakfast and lunch. The place is clean and is a walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed having WiFi at the condo since our son needed to complete some work (even when he was on vacation.) We will definitely stay at this condo if we have a chance to come back to the island. Mahalo from North Carolina.

Checking in was smooth and there was good communication from the property manager. It is located very close to the airport and the Kauai Marriott where our friends stayed. Walking distance to local shopping area and a great pizza place, ABC store, ice cream shop. Also walking distance to the Kauai Marriott where there are more restaurants. Inside the unit was clean, well ventilated even though no central air. The space was more than enough for our needs. Kitchen well stocked. Upstairs closet has beach towels, umbrella, beach chairs, kids sand toys. A very comfortable stay and was affordable.

Great apartment. Spacious, quiet, clean. The management company made sure we had everything we needed, starting with water in the fridge, ending with books about the island and beach umbrellas. The location is very walk able, there are so many stores and restaurants just across the street. A really good find, I’d come back again and again.

This is the 2nd time staying at this property. I like the central location. It is very clean and comfortable. The owner takes special care to see to it you have an enjoyable, carefree vacation. It is across the street from a nice beach and is centrally located. Shopping is just a few minutes away. The condo complex is nice and the community pool and BBQ's are great. Can't say enough good things. Thank you, Liz!

It was one of our best holidays ever. It was the perfect accommodation for us. The condo was equiped with everything you need in the kitchen to have a bbq, washing machine and dryer in the bathroom and we even found boogie boards and parasols in a closet, which made a day on the beach perfect. You can reach a very beautifil beach within 7 minutes walking distance as well as nice restaurants. The condo was very clean and comfortable. In case of any questions, Liz helped us immediately. She is such a gorgeous person. 

In questions of outdoor activities you can rely on Kiki, the concierge of Banyan harbour, she recommended very nice activities and places to go. Kauai is the most beautiful and magical island we have ever seen. You really think you are in the middle of a Jurrasic Park Film set ;) 

We spend an unforgettable time in Kauai at the place of Liz'.

Banyan Harbor is one of the most beautiful, well-kept and quiet areas to get relaxed in. This condo has absolutely everything you need, it is like bringing you own home in your suitcase. They have a full kitchen, outside BBQs, pool, air conditioning etc. I will only stay here when I visit Kauai, it is that spectacular!

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot to stay for our week on Kauai. We found Lihue is so central to both ends of the island and Banyan Harbor was exactly what we were hoping for. Very very clean and so well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. 
I’ll be back to the island for sure, and I will most definitely stay here again :)

We really enjoyed our stay at the Banyan Harbor A9. The condo has everything you need and is very clean and well maintained. It was nice to have all the little extras such as beach accessories, laundry detergent, etc. The Banyan is located at a few minute walk from several restaurants, stores and an awesome gym.
